Deep Freeze

Wednesday, February 7, 2007
We are in such a deep freeze here in Michigan. The schools have been cancelled due to how cold it has been. This cold weather is driving everybody nuts. You don't feel like leaving your house. It's very depressing. I am so sick of seeing snow. I wonder will it ever end? We got to see a peek of the sun today, what a treat that was.

Baby it's cold outside!!!!

Saturday, February 3, 2007
We are sure getting the snow. The temperatures are below zero here. If you go out for just a few minutes, your skin literally hurts. We have been under a winter storm warning and a blizzard warning for the last 24 hours. There is no sign of it letting up either. The forcast is calling for snow everyday this week. My kids are going stir crazy here. I can't even send them out to play, it is just to cold outside.

Winter time

Thursday, January 25, 2007
The dreaded winter months. Living in Michigan I should be used to the cold winter months. The high heating bills are the worst. The only nice thing is that the snow looks pretty and the kids love to go sledding. We found two great hills to take them on, and went last weekend, now they can't wait to go again. Especially my 2 year old. She surprised me that she even liked to be out in the cold weather. My other daughter used to cry when she got cold. But my 2 year old she is my dare devil. It takes us about an hour to even get everybody ready. But in the end it is worth it because everyone seems to have fun. I am so ready for the snow to be gone though, we were even late getting snow this year, and I am already sick of it. I miss being able to play outside with the kids. The warm sunshine. If it were possible I would move somewhere warmer in a heartbeat. Thats how much I dread the winter months. Everything is gloomy and depressing after the holidays. Spring time is the only thing to look forward too.
